Terry began his tattoo career in 2000 in Frostburg, Maryland after serving four years in the United States Marine Corps. After putting down strong roots in the craft and developing a deep respect for traditional tattooing, he left Western Maryland in 2002 to further pursue his trade.

Since 2003, Terry has proudly called Frederick, Maryland home, working in a variety of tattoo shops and continuing to grow as an artist. His drawing and painting reflect his love for the clean, classic look of American traditional tattoos, featuring bold lines, smooth shading, and rich color saturation. He also enjoys creating Japanese-inspired pieces, black and gray work, and dotwork.

Proficient in multiple tattoo styles, Terry is comfortable taking on both large-scale projects and smaller custom designs. Beyond tattooing, he has always been fascinated by the mechanical side of the craft. In 2013, he began building tattoo machines and now designs and sells custom, handmade machines built with precision and care.

Terry brings discipline, passion, and decades of experience to every tattoo he creates.

Carly is an artistically driven tattooer who graduated from Walkersville High School and has always had a strong passion for art and tattoos. With a natural creative eye and a deep appreciation for the craft, she knew early on that tattooing was the path she wanted to pursue.

She began her journey at Made True Tattoo in January 2025, where she continues to develop her skills, refine her technique, and grow as an artist. Carly specializes in black and gray and dotwork tattoos, bringing detail, precision, and care to every piece she creates. While these are her strengths, she is always excited to explore new styles and bring your color tattoo ideas to life.
